Week 14 - Ursell's Top Tips
My confidence in winning some serious Qoins last week turned out to be justified as a few of my longer odds tips came in. I hope some of you also managed to make some successful bets.
The Queen World Cup bookmaker offered quite a few cheeky tempters for punters last week but it looks as if he may be reeling from some big payouts and I don’t see lots of opportunities for huge individual wins this week. However…do not despair: there are always Qoins to be raked in for the strategic QWC gambler.
Tips for Week 14:
Las Palabras De Amor vs Keep Passing The Open Windows
The bookies have this as an even match up and in reality this one will probably be quite close so this tip is only a very slim chance bet but a Vote Difference percentage of 26-50 has got to be worth a few of your Qoins at 50/1. You can cover any stake on this outsider bet by also betting on a narrower margin of victory.
Mother Love vs Headlong
The bookies have Mother Love as narrow favourite. I think Headlong might sneak it but it is fundamentally an unpredictable match up so a VD of 26-50 seems a plausible outcome and at 10/1 potentially offers value.
I Want It All vs Was It All Worth It
Was it All Worth it is a popular song and results in this group suggest this could be close but I don’t think a relative drubbing at the hands of I Want It All is out of the question so VD of 51-89 at 10/1 could be worth a shot. That’s really a gut instinct tip from me. As I say, the form suggests it could be quite close so you could also bet on VD 2-15, which is also 10/1.
Scandal vs My Baby Does Me
This is a nailed on win for Scandal and odds of 4/9 mean you can load up as many Qoins as you can spare on a home win and get a healthy payout.
Bets to avoid
Let Me Live vs The Show Must Go On
TSMGO will obviously win this one but at 1/25 for an away win you are going to have to spend an awful lot of Qoins to get a worthwhile return, even with a decent bet multiplier.
That’s it for this week. As I said, I don’t see lots of potential for long odds wins this week but remember, even if these specific tips don’t come off, you can still win plenty of Qoins by betting strategically and following my general tips below.
Good luck everyone.
General tips
Tip 1: Bet on multiple matches each weekend
If you bet on more matches you can increase your chances of winning and spread your risk to cushion the blow when you inevitably lose a bet.
Tip 2: Consider making multiple bets on the same match up, if the odds make it worth it
It is fine to risk losing some bets as long as you are in profit overall.
Tip 3: Study the form
The outcome of matches already played won’t tell you what the upcoming results will be, but they are a good indicator for getting into the right ballpark.
Tip 4: Look for long odds value in the Vote Difference bets
The Odds Committee is generally pretty solid at predicting the outcomes but its radar does occasionally stray. There are some very tempting odds on offer here and there for outcomes that perhaps aren’t as unlikely as the odds suggest.
Tip 5: Invest your winnings in levelling up your avatar
Once you start getting the benefit of the increasing bet multiplier you can really start to rake it in. It is worth the up front cost.
Tip 6: Do not buy skills until you have enough Qoins to fully level up
There is no in-game benefit to buying skills until you have levelled up, so if you buy skills without levelling up all you are doing is tying up your Qoin cashflow, which means less money available for betting.
