Tips for Week 11

Pain Is So Close to Pleasure vs Action This Day

The is very likely to be a win for Action This Day so bet confidently on an away win at 4/9. The winning margin could easily get close to the 50% mark so the 51-89 vote difference at 5/1 is a decent value bet.

Gimme The Prize vs Body Language

Bet on a GTP home win at 4/9 and combine it with a 51-89 VD bet at 5/1.

Put Out The Fire vs Princes Of The Universe

Bet heavy on an away win for Princes at 8/15. The 51-89 VD might be a stretch but at 10/1 could be worth an investment.

Keep Passing The Open Windows vs Dancer

The 26-50 VD at 20-1 is a tempter.

Bets to avoid

Too Much Love Will Kill You vs Mother Love

I just can’t call this one. Mother Love is slight favourite but the odds don’t make it worth the risk so unless you have a strong instinct on this one, I would avoid.

I Want To Break Free vs Don’t Lose Your Head

This is inevitably going to be a heavy win for IWTBF but VD 51-89 offers no value at all at 1/100 and VD of 90+ at Evens isn’t enough to tempt me.

General tips

Tip 1: Bet on multiple matches each weekend

If you bet on more matches you can increase your chances of winning and spread your risk to cushion the blow when you inevitably lose a bet.

Tip 2: Consider making multiple bets on the same match up, if the odds make it worth it

It is fine to risk losing some bets as long as you are in profit overall.

Tip 3: Study the form

The outcome of matches already played won’t tell you what the upcoming results will be, but they are a good indicator for getting into the right ballpark.

Tip 4: Look for long odds value in the Vote Difference bets

The Odds Committee is generally pretty solid at predicting the outcomes but its radar does occasionally stray. There are some very tempting odds on offer here and there for outcomes that perhaps aren’t as unlikely as the odds suggest.

Tip 5: Invest your winnings in levelling up your avatar

Once you start getting the benefit of the increasing bet multiplier you can really start to rake it in. It is worth the up front cost. 

Tip 6: Do not buy skills until you have enough Qoins to fully level up

There is no in-game benefit to buying skills until you have levelled up so if you buy skills without levelling up all you are doing is tying up your Qoin cashflow, which means less money for betting.
